A truly extraordinary stone. Each slab of Rainbow Sandstone is a unique composition of stacked geological time: layers of red, pink, cream, grey, and buff running in dramatic horizontal bands. The base colour moves through muted brick red, into earthy terracotta, and on to a deeper rusty red. Rainbow Sandstone carries relatively low colour variation, though subtle tonal shifts, natural grains, bedding marks and occasional mineral variation should be expected from piece to piece.
