Makrana WhiteMarble
Luminous pure white, the standard of all whites
Material Story
The most revered marble in Indian history: Makrana White built the Taj Mahal. Translucent to natural light, brilliantly white, and capable of the finest hand carving, Makrana is the gold standard against which all other marbles are measured. For Ishatva, it represents the highest expression of our craft, reserved for pieces that will be cherished for generations.
Colour & Natural Variation
The base colour moves through muted brick red, into earthy terracotta, and on to a deeper rusty red. Makrana White Marble carries relatively low colour variation, though subtle tonal shifts, natural grains, bedding marks and occasional mineral variation should be expected from piece to piece.
