Bansi PaharpurSandstone
Warm buff-yellow with russet grain
Material Story
Quarried near the ancient trade routes of Rajasthan, Bansi Paharpur sandstone has a distinctly rustic warmth. Its buff-yellow surface is alive with natural grain and subtle colour shifts that reward slow looking, a stone for those who appreciate imperfection as a form of beauty.
Colour & Natural Variation
The base colour moves through muted brick red, into earthy terracotta, and on to a deeper rusty red. Bansi Paharpur Sandstone carries relatively low colour variation, though subtle tonal shifts, natural grains, bedding marks and occasional mineral variation should be expected from piece to piece.
